Publicis Health acquires data analytics firm Payer Sciences
Payer Sciences focuses on helping pharma and biotech companies with reimbursement in the US.
Based in New Jersey, the company’s services include quantitative insights, market research and decision-support software, and it employs 40 staff including data analysts and B2B communications specialists.
The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Alexandra von Plato, chief executive, Publicis Health, said: “Payer Sciences’ suite of unique software and services enables clients to target and optimise interactions with the entire ecosystem of reimbursement stakeholders.”
The acquisition will have “practical applications” for other Publicis clients beyond biopharmaceuticals, she added, saying: “The addition of Payer Sciences strengthens Publicis Health’s offering to become our clients’ trusted transformation partner.”
Eric Colwell, principal at Payer Sciences, said: “Traditional methods of payer marketing no longer work. We’ve transformed payer marketing by harnessing data and advanced analytics to help our clients extract deeper insights into payer behaviour.”
