Publicis to buy Soft Computing
It wants to buy a controlling block representing 83% of the share capital at a price of €25 per share.
Soft Computing was founded in 1984 by Eric Fischmeister and Gilles Venturi, and specialised in data and how it is applied to marketing and the customer experience. With more than 400 employees, Soft Computing works with the majority of large corporates in the retail, services and financial sectors.
Publicis said the purchase would reinforce its data marketing expertise in France.
The proposed acquisition is subject to prior information and consultation with the bodies representing Soft Computing’s staff, as well as to the usual conditions precedent.
