Ang (pictured) was previously client development manager at Kantar Profiles, focusing on developing the business in the Asia-Pacific region, and has also worked at Nielsen.

At Pureprofile, Ang will take responsibility for growing the business across Asia and expanding the scope of the firm’s data and insights.

He will be based in Singapore, and the position of client solutions director is a new role at the company.

Pureprofile carries out user-generated consumer profiling, capturing data on a range of areas including attitudes, sentiment and advertising engagement.

Martin Filz, chief executive of Pureprofile, said Ang’s previous work in areas such as e-commerce, fast-moving consumer goods and financial services “will be highly beneficial to our team going forward, as we look to expand our offerings in these areas and more”.
