Schellekens (pictured) was most recently chief executive for Markteffect, and has also spent eight years at Kantar Profiles, where he was sales director for the firm’s Netherlands office.

At Pureprofile, Schellekens will lead its growth plans across Europe and will be based in London. Pureprofile specialises in direct-to-consumer technology platforms, and works in consumer research, data and insights, and programmatic media.

Tim Potter, managing director for Pureprofile’s UK business, said: “Joris’ passion and love of the industry is evident from the first time you speak to him, and it is clear that the clients he has worked with over the years share his view.

“I am delighted to have him join the team in what is a hugely exciting period of growth for Pureprofile in the UK and mainland Europe.”
