S4 Capital acquires Zemoga

UK – Digital advertising and marketing services business S4 Capital has completed a merger between its digital marketing and advertising brand Media.Monks and tech services company Zemoga.

S4 Capital said that the merger, which was for an undisclosed fee, would be the “first step towards building a third practice area” focused on technology services.

Media.Monks became part of S4 Capital in July 2018. Media.Monks has also completed acquisitions this year of creative, technology and media agency Decoded Advertising, Shanghai-based creative agency Tomorrow, Stuttgart-based automotive specialist Staud Studios, and Toronto-based design and experience agency Jam3.

Zemoga specialises in product design, engineering and delivery services, and was founded in Colombia in 2002.

The company has offices in the US cities New York, Los Angeles and Wilton, and the Colombian cities of Bogota, Cali, Medellin and Baranqilla.

DJ Edgerton, chief executive and founder of Zemoga, said: “Merging with a powerhouse like Media.Monks is a natural next step in the evolution of Zemoga as our complementary service offerings, client portfolios and our common approach to disrupting the industry make for an exciting future all round.”
