Sales intelligence platform Persana AI secures seed funding
Founded by Sriya Maram (pictured, left) and Rush Shahani (pictured, right) in 2023, Persana AI uses AI agents and data integration to automate ‘go-to-market’ (GTM) prospecting and sales engagement.
The funding round included investment from Y Combinator, Race Capital and Stage 2 Capital.
The Persana AI platform combines data consolidation with automation and aims to streamline the manual processes for teams responsible for bringing products or services to market, such as data entry, research and prospecting.
Shahani and Maram formerly worked in engineering and product management at LinkedIn.
With the funding, Persana AI is expanding its platform to include specialised task-specific autonomous agents, including research agents to automate data gathering and agents to automate follow-up and outreach tasks.
