Scout Analytics appointed to handle PLN customer segmentation
PLN will use Scout’s Yield Optimizer tool to look at their customer relationships and help its sales teams increase the “lifetime value” of customers.
Scout’s technology will segment customers according to their usage behaviour, helping the sales team to gain insight on which customers are getting a good return on investment and which are not.
Steve Budd (pictured), the network’s VP of marketing, said: “A big challenge with approaching customers about renewals is the difficulty of consolidating usage data and having it available in front of us. The customer segmentation and data analysis provided by Scout Yield Optimizer gives our sales team and our customers a better understanding into return on investment.”
