Shell and Innowatts partner on AI demand forecasting
Through the partnership, Innowatts’ demand analytics and forecasting tools will be used to inform supply management and provide insights into customers’ carbon footprints.
The Innowatts platform uses AI to obtain meter-level data on how people use energy. The company operates in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Dave Boundy, chief technology officer and European general manager at Innowatts, said: "Our AI-powered SaaS platform can help accelerate the transition to clean energy use in an economically sustainable way, with data-driven intelligence that adapts to providers’ evolving energy needs."
