Signicat hires CFO
In his new role, van den Bogaard (pictured) will lead a team of more than 35 people across Europe and will report directly to Signicat chief executive Asger Hattel.
Before joining Signicat, van den Bogaard was group chief financial officer at cloud services business Sentia, which has recently been acquired by Accenture.
Van den Bogaard has also worked for global brands including Shell and Heineken as well as in the private equity sector.
The appointment follows recent acquisitions of European-based companies by Signicat, including Lithuania’s Dokobit, British firm Sphonic and Electronic IDentification in Spain.
Hattel said: “Michel’s diverse background and expertise in financial management, and especially his experience working with private equity owners, makes him the ideal profile for taking over as chief financial officer, and accompanying us in the coming chapters of our journey.
“His proven success internationally, working with leading logos and transformative agenda, and his deep knowledge in SaaS, makes him a great asset to the team.”
