Signicat names DACH country manager

GERMANY – Digital identity firm Signicat has appointed Philipp Wegmann as country manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH).

Wegmann (pictured) will help expand Signicat’s presence in the DACH region, with the company having operated for several years in Germany.

Before taking up his new role at Signicat, Wegmann was director partner management at IDnow, and has worked in sales and business development positions at businesses such as Panasonic and Truma Geraetetechnik.

Thijs Vink, chief of continental Europe at Signicat, said: “We are pleased to welcome Philipp to our team. He is the perfect fit to strengthen our position in Germany and keep providing market-leading and compliant digital identity solutions to the DACH Market.

“With his extensive experience in various industries and cultures, including a solid background in digital identity solutions, we are confident that he will be instrumental in driving our expansion and enhancing our presence in the DACH region.”
