Simpson Carpenter hires head of automotive from Jaguar Land Rover
Ramirez (pictured) has spent 21 years in client-side automotive marketing roles with Vauxhall, General Motors and, most recently, Jaguar Land Rover, where she has spent the last five years.
Her new role, her first within an agency, will see her lead Simpson Carpenter’s automotive business, with a specific brief to expand the agency’s international presence and business base.
"Ana has strong client-side experience. She understands exactly what clients need from research and how they use it," said Tom Simpson, founder and managing director of Simpson Carpenter.
"This will help us ensure the work we do for our automotive clients gives them the best possible return on their investment. Her experience of managing studies around the world and of working in different countries will help us expand internationally.
"She will also bring valuable specialist knowledge in areas such as new product development and car clinics, expanding the range of services we offer our clients."
