Vista Equity Partners reportedly prepares Kantar bid
Vista Equity Partners focuses on investing in software, data, and technology companies. The US firm joins Bain Capital, Apollo and Platinum in the final stages of the auction, Reuters reported.
Last year, Vista’s investments included data analytics firm 7Park Data, business management software company Apptio and work management platform Wrike.
Earlier this month, WPP put multiple private equity companies through to a second round of bids for a stake in Kantar. The advertising group wants the partial sale to be finalised around the end of the second quarter.
WPP declined to comment while Vista Equity Partners could not be immediately reached for comment.
