Other account executives hired by Walr include Callum Gent, previously key partnership manager at Currencies Direct, Bethany Hillan, who was a PhD student at the University of Leeds, and Olivia Florance, who held a prior role as account executive at Cint.

Walr has also appointed two key account managers – Tania-Elena Marculescu, previously account manager at Profiles by Kantar, and Daisy Jarrett, who was formerly account director at 72Point.

Sales intern Simona Ilchevska has also joined Walr, and will be working part-time at the company while completing a BSc in international political economy at City, University of London.

Lewis Reeves, founder and chief executive officer at Walr, said: “We are really excited to see this expansion of our commercial function. Over the past few years, we have dedicated a lot of time and attention to crafting our proposition and technology, now we are ready to launch that into the market in earnest.

“With these talented individuals on board, we have the skillset in place to make a serious impact.”

Ben Walton, chief commercial officer at Walr, added: “As a business we are committed to identifying and nurturing talent, regardless of title or tenure.

“Each individual brings a unique blend of experience and potential, and we are looking forward to seeing how their career develops on this exciting journey.”
