Louisa Wong, chief executive at Wavemaker Americas, said: “Ryan’s strengths are uniquely suited to this role – a passion for finding new ways to solve problems, an extraordinary emotional intelligence, and great commercial connections in the Canadian market.
“He embodies a leadership style that will empower, inspire, and coach an already high-performing and highly successful executive leadership team, helping them – and by extension, the passionate and dedicated agency they represent – align their plans with the overall business strategy and do their best work.”
Kevin Johnson, chief executive at GroupM Canada, said: “As we continue to build the agencies and industry of the future in Canada, I believe strongly that a critical part of that is to bring in different skillsets and cognitive diversity to empower innovation and new thinking.
