Bannerman (pictured centre) will lead Wavemaker’s fast growth practice, where he will work on scaling up brands.

Before spending the last three years at Wavemaker, Bannerman was at MediaCom, most recently as global category and client president.

Hickey (pictured right) will lead Wavemaker’s global consultancy, which supports clients in growing their business across seven connected practices: applied innovation, ecommerce, content and brand experiences, data strategy, measurement and analytics, addressable solutions, and tech consulting.

Hickey has been at Wavemaker for five-and-a-half years, having previously worked as managing director at Maxus Global.

Altman (pictured left) will take the reins of Wavemaker’s B2B practice, based at a global centre of excellence in London and hubs in North America and Asia-Pacific.

Before taking up his new role, Altman was global client president, having been at Wavemaker for six years as well as executive chairman at World Media Group between 2019 and 2021.

Toby Jenner, global chief executive officer at Wavemaker, said: “Al, Anna and Alex will continue to lead their existing clients with an expanded remit. This will allow our global client leadership to be closer to the capabilities which will best serve our client demands and continue to fuel their growth requirements.

“Al, Anna and Alex will each also be responsible for bringing our unmatched breadth and depth of expertise from GroupM and WPP to their individual practices and client needs.”
