Whaley joins MRII board

US – Market research industry non-profit organisation the Market Research Institute International (MRII) has appointed OvationMR chief executive Jim Whaley to its board of directors.

Whaley started his career at IBM and later co-founded The Whaley Group and Globalpark USA, and has held senior roles at other companies, primarily focusing on working with clients in B2B and healthcare. He co-founded OvationMR in 2016. 

Ed Keller, executive director, MRII, said: "Jim’s appointment to the MRII board of directors comes at a key time for MRII as we look to further advance our mission of providing the foundational excellence for market research and insights success.

"His vast knowledge and long-term achievements in market research will provide invaluable insights and deep understanding of the industry to guide our future growth and direction."

MRII offers online courses focused on market research with The University of Georgia.
