YouGov launches brand tracking tool in UK

UK – Global research, data and analytics group YouGov has released its CategoryView brand tracking tool in the UK.

Data tracking

CategoryView is an industry-specific brand tracking tool that aims to provide users with a view of their brand performance and what is happening across their wider sector.

The tool tracks market shifts, seeks to understand consumer preferences as they develop and show how a brand is performing in the context of the market in which they operate.

In addition, CategoryView uses YouGov’s proprietary panel when generating insights.

Charlie Taylor, vice-president data products – data strategy at YouGov, said: “YouGov CategoryView is an innovative tool that gives customers a fresh perspective on the realities of consumers in their sector.

“We developed it specifically to help brands that operate in particular industries to drive growth and refine their strategies. Our users were placed front and centre of the development of this one stop shop solution that combines deep sector intelligence with high-quality brand tracking.”
