YouGov names GM for Germany
Alonso (pictured) joined YouGov in January 2024 as part of the acquisition of consumer panels business CPS from GfK.
Prior roles include senior roles at GfK and GSK, including country managing director, commercial director and category manager.
Alonso’s new role will see him build YouGov’s growth strategy in Germany, and he will report to YouGov DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) chief executive officer Matthias Gross.
Gross said: “With a proven track record of leading large, high-performing teams, Felipe brings a wealth of market research expertise to his new role as our general manager for Germany.
“Throughout his career, Felipe has demonstrated a talent for fostering cultures of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. His success in managing some of the most significant accounts in the German retail space showcases his strong client-delivery skills and deep understanding of the market.
“With his unique blend of skills and knowledge, I am thrilled to have Felipe on board in this key role.”
