Behavix raises $2.5m in funding

US – Behavioural data company Behavix has closed a $2.5m seed funding round led by Nordic venture capital firms Vendep Capital and Superhero Capital.

The funding will help Behavixwhich was founded last year by by Hannu Verkasalo and Surath Chatterji and which is headquartered in Helsinki, invest in its AI-led behavioural data tools and expand its operations and capabilities in key areas.

Behavix said it would also use the funding to accelerate product development and expand its go-to-market efforts, particularly in the US.

Sami Ahvenniemi, general partner at Vendep Capital, and Juha Ruohonen, general partner at Superhero Capital, will join Behavix’s board of directors.

Hannu Verkasalo, chief executive and co-founder at Behavix, said: “With the backing of Vendep, Superhero, and our outstanding angel investors, we are now poised to accelerate Behavix’s growth on a global scale.
