Blue Yonder hires Brand Lab lead

UK – Research and innovation company Blue Yonder Research has appointed Mat Sloan as head of its marketing insights department Brand:Lab.

Sloan (pictured) will take over Brand:Lab from managing director Richard Heath, who will focus more time on running the wider Blue Yonder business.

Before joining Blue Yonder, Sloan was a senior director at Catalyx and has also worked for companies including Black Swan Data, Streetbees and Savanta.

Blue Yonder, which is based in Leeds, run an insights agency and in-house tech incubator. 

Brand:Lab carries out research for brands on areas such as concept and advert testing, performance tracking and optimisation and demand segmentation using mixed method research, data consulting and neuroscience, among other tools.

Heath said: “I am thrilled to welcome Mat to the Senior team at Blue Yonder to run Brand:Lab. I’m excited to see Brand:Lab flourish under Mat’s leadership.”
