UK – Insight, strategy and innovation consultancy C Space has appointed Zoë Carter as managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (Emea).

Carter (pictured) will lead the growth and expansion of C Space’s business outside of the US.

Before taking up her new role, Carter was head of client service at C Space, having worked for the company for nine years, including starting as an associate consultant and overseeing some of the business’ biggest client partnerships.

Carter’s appointment comes as Kathryn Blanshard departs C Space after 15 years to pursue a new opportunity.

The recent changes in the company’s Emea division also sees Claire Kennard steps into Carter’s former role as head of client service, while Vicky Shekleton and Grace Power have been promoted to business directors.

Additionally, Andy Fitzgibbons has moved into a newly created position as director of solutions. C Space was acquired by Escalent in 2023.

Melissa Sauter, chief executive at Escalent, said: “Zoë is the ideal leader to steer C Space Emea through this exciting and transformative time for our industry.

“Her deep expertise in insight communities, proven success across brands and agencies and strong client relationships make her uniquely positioned to drive the business forward. With her leadership, deep tenure at C Space and the strength of our growing team, we’re excited for a future of continued innovation and growth.”

Carter added: “I’m thrilled to step into this role at such a pivotal time for both C Space and the global brands we support.

“C Space has been my home for nearly a decade, and I’m excited to build on our success alongside a talented team and the strong backing of Escalent.”
