The acquisition will create a company of more than 2,000 employees across 20 countries, with Hall & Partners focusing on research and brand management coupled with a brand knowledge management platform and C Space bringing in its work building communities and customer relationships.

There are no plans in the short term to change company locations or merge brands post-acquisition, Escalent said, with the leadership teams at both C Space and Hall & Partners remaining in post.

The deal follows recent acquisitions by Escalent over the last few years including Mercator, Javelin Strategy & Research and Grail Insights.

Melissa Sauter, chief executive at Escalent, said: “This union is rooted in unparalleled expertise in what drives human beings, cultures and markets – an understanding that makes our team incredibly valuable partners and positions our clients for success in today’s fast-paced, ever-changing business climate.

“Together, there is tremendous growth potential for our employees, clients and shareholders across the globe.”

Hall & Partners chief executive Tim Wragg added: “Over the coming year, cross-company teams will work together to develop a thoughtful plan that ensures our clients and employees feel the benefits from our combined organisation.

“We are perfectly balanced to offer deep resources and leading technology while remaining devoted to personal client relationships. We’re eager to start working toward our future.”

Jessica DeVlieger, chief executive at C Space, said: “Our organisations are forward-thinking and offer employees an opportunity to nurture their professional growth through expanded products and services that have a real impact on our clients, in an environment that celebrates diversity and recognises each team member’s valuable contributions.”
