InMoment buys Lexalytics
Headquartered in Massachusetts, Lexalytics offers a software platform that is used to analyse text and derive insight from structured and unstructured data including surveys, social media, call centres and chat logs.
InMoment is based in Utah, with offices in the US, Europe, the UK and Asia-Pacific. The company’s tools are used for social media monitoring, people analytics, voice of the employee, reputation management, voice of the customer and regulatory compliance programmes
The acquisition will bolster InMoment’s customer experience platform with the addition of natural language processing and machine learning and text analytics in 24 languages.
The brands will merge together under the InMoment brand following the acquisition. Lexalytics employees, including its founder Jeff Catlin, will continue in their roles.
The financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
Stephan Thun, managing director and president Emea, InMoment (pictured), said the combined company would offer clients the ability to “go beyond surveys to meet their customers and employees where they are” with a “deeper understanding of their journey, emotion, intention, and the effort associated with an experience”.
Jeff Catlin, chief executive, Lexalytics, added: “By joining InMoment we have the opportunity to push additional innovative solutions and transformative expertise to our customers.”
