THE NETHERLANDS – Market research and insights business MetrixLab has launched voice recording within its consumer surveys.

People participating in MetrixLab surveys will now be able to respond using spoken comments.

The introduction of voice recordings follows a partnership between MetrixLab and voice technology company Phebi.

Dutch insurance company Achmea is currently trialling the approach.

Carlijn Tummers, global innovation consultant, MetrixLab (pictured), said: “Many people are already using voice commands in their homes and vehicles. We are exploring this technology to understand its impact on the quality of insights when we simplify survey completion and measure respondents’ emotions passively.”
