MMR Research names sensory director

SINGAPORE – Insights company MMR Research has appointed Wanni Xu as sensory director of its Asian division based in Singapore.

Xu (pictured) was previously global sensory and consumer science manager at Reckitt Benckiser, where she managed sensory and consumer studies for the homecare and food categories.

Before joining Reckitt, Xu was sensory and consumer insights scientist at Firmenich Asia and consumer and sensory insights project manager at Givaudan Asia.

Xu’s appointment will strengthen MMR Research’s sensory research work, contribute to the expansion of it panel and help establish of a centre of excellence in sensory practices within MMR Asia and globally.

Phiala Mehring, sensory experience director at MMR Research, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Wanni Xu to MMR Research. Her extensive experience, passion for sensory science and dedication to collaboration align perfectly with our values and goals.
