NIQ names head of retail media for North America
Bonert, who official started his role on 30th December, will be based at NIQ’s Chicago headquarters and will oversee the company’s retail media business in his new role.
NIQ launched its media division at the beginning of 2024, with the goal of helping advertisers gain more value from their marketing efforts.
Prior to joining NIQ, Bonert worked at The Trade Desk and Amazon, focusing on bringing retail media tools to market in the former role and leading the expansion of Amazon’s consumer packaged goods food and confectionery advertising offer at the latter.
Elizabeth Buchanan, president at NIQ North America, said: “We’re very excited to have Dan lead our retail media business. Dan’s strong relationships and deep expertise in retail media make him the perfect fit to drive our vision forward.
“He’s an innovative and passionate leader, and I am confident he will have a significant impact on our clients, our business and the industry.”
