In the six months since Norstat completed the acquisition of Panelbase, the company has been working on integrating teams into the company as well as supporting and expanding Panelbase’s UK consumer panel.

As a result of the integration, Panelbase will be rebranded as Norstat.

Panelbase was Norstat’s seventh acquisition in two years as part of a strategy to expand its market presence and services in the European data collection market.

Graciella Garmann (pictured), chief commercial officer at Norstat, said: “The rebranding of Panelbase marks the formation of a unified team — one company, one brand.

“This move strengthens our position as a leading data collector for market research in Europe and extends the reach of our offerings, including sample only, full service and digital products and solutions.”

Mats Beck, chief strategy and mergers and acquisitions officer at Norstat, said: “We have long admired Panelbase and were confident that their high-quality approach would significantly bolster our presence in the UK while creating operational efficiencies and revenue opportunities across the group.

“The integration of Panelbase has been a pivotal step in our ongoing expansion journey, paving the way for further growth and enhancing our status as a European leader in the data collection industry.”

Paul Wealleans, managing director at Norstat UK and Ireland, added: “This milestone significantly advances our mission to become the foremost data collection company in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

“The expertise and strong market position of Panelbase has seamlessly aligned with Norstat’s ambitious growth objectives.”
