Pureprofile and ShopBack join forces on shopper survey cashback

AUSTRALIA – Data and insights company Pureprofile has partnered with shopping, rewards and payments platform ShopBack to offer respondents cashback for completing surveys.

ShopBack has 38 million members across 10 markets, earning cashback from online purchases via the company’s mobile app or web browser extension.

Through the partnership, ShopBack will integrate Pureprofile’s software-as-a-service tool into its platform, expanding Pureprofile’s research panel and giving members the opportunity to earn cashback in exchange for participating in surveys.

Cashback websites pay their members a percentage of money earned when they purchase goods and services via affiliate links.

The initiative will initially launch in Australia, with the companies planning to expand it to southeast Asia later this year.

Young Ham, global head of innovation and partnerships at Pureprofile, said: “It’s important that businesses and the economy have an accurate picture of what today’s shopper is looking for and what they value – be that discounts for purchasing goods online or buying in bulk for cost-effective outcomes.

“Our partnership with ShopBack will help arm businesses with important insights and ultimately benefit consumers that are on the hunt for a deal.”
