SurveyMonkey adds WhatsApp social sharing option

US – Survey research platform SurveyMonkey has updated its system to allow users to collect responses via messaging app WhatsApp.

SurveyMonkey customers can now share a web link to surveys or forms to their WhatsApp groups by clicking a social media sharing button within the platform.

The feature adds to the existing ability to share surveys on LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, and Microsoft Teams.

The beta addition of the WhatsApp sharing feature has led to twice as many clicks and shares compared with all other social sharing platforms the company supports, according to SurveyMonkey.

WhatsApp has already proven to be a game-changer for our customers,” said Eric Johnson, chief executive, SurveyMonkey. “Its worldwide appeal has opened a new door for our users, giving them an easy and secure way to share their surveys and forms on a platform they already use and trust.”
