TNS hires Vishy Rajagopal as regional director

INDIA — Vishy Rajagopal is to re-join TNS as regional director, operations, Asia Pacific.

Rajagopal, who was vice president of operations at TNS India for five years until 2009, will join from Nielsen where he has been in regional head of data acquisition roles for Middle East, Africa, Pakistan and South Asia.

A major part of Rajagopal’s role will be completing the company’s transition to 100% electronic data collection through tablets and other digital measures.

“I am delighted to be re-joining TNS in this new regional role. TNS is leading the industry in operations, delivering massive improvements in data collection through their commitment to leveraging technology and deploying digital collection. I am very excited to be joining a team so committed to delivering high quality data rapidly,” said Rajagopal.

James Brooks, global operations director, TNS, added: “I am incredibly pleased that Vishy is joining the team. He has fantastic experience of successfully executing complex projects and driving operational effectiveness across geographies.”
