The appointment comes as Walr opens an office in Sydney, Australia, adding to existing presence in the UK, US, Canada, India, Sweden, Norway and North Macedonia.

Lee (pictured) has worked in market research for more than 15 years, most recently as vice-president of measurement at Lucid.

Before Lucid, Lee also worked for companies including Dynata, Kantar and Teg Insights, and has focused on areas such as market segmentation, behavioural data, insight generation and strategy development.

Ben Walton, chief commercial officer at Walr, said: “Kickstarting the year by expanding into the Asia-Pacific region has been an outstanding achievement.

“Lamia’s deep understanding and practical experience have already been incredibly valuable to the company’s worldwide growth, and I am confident that she will continue to make a significant impact.”
