Wiley joins Cuebiq as chief privacy officer
Wiley (pictured) will lead its privacy technology project, using blockchain to create an open data marketplace, as well as Cuebiq’s framework for user information and consent across its app partnerships.
He joins from Oath where he was vice-president of privacy, leading privacy and technical integration across 50 brands including Yahoo, AOL, Tumblr, Huffington Post and Flickr, and driving their global GDPR compliance efforts.
Oath, a subsidiary of Verizon Communications, is the umbrella company of its digital content subdivision including AOL and Yahoo! Prior to Oath’s formation, Wiley was vice-president, privacy and data governance, at Yahoo! leading its privacy team.
Antonio Tomarchio, CEO and co-founder of Cuebiq, said: “Cuebiq has been committed to protecting users’ privacy, as we have taken specific measures to be at the forefront of privacy standards.
